Our webcam in Ushuaia teleports users directly to the world's southernmost railway station.
At the foot of the high mountains, overlooking the Beagle Strait, lies the world's southernmost city: Ushuaia, the Capital of Tierra del Fuego.
Our Ushuaia live cam broadcasts the landscape drawn by the zigzagging Pipo River, the Macarena Waterfall and the iridescently colored tree forest. The Southern Fuegina Railroad (Tren del Fin del Mundo) begins here.
Ushuaia's history is closely tied to this 14-kilometer railway — the city was a penal colony, and the railroad was constructed by inmates. Now open to tourists since 1994, the route runs from the End of the World Station to the National Park Station. During the journey, tourists will enjoy spectacular views of the Pipo River Valley as well as La Macarena Falls.
